“Being with this alien land” by Eureka C. Bianzon

I left my distant home

Facing this alien land

Held my tears to fall

Hid each drop within my hand

I’ve foreseen the sadness I’ve known

Being with this alien land

Being far away from home

Seemed to be the hardest feeling

That time

I’ve worn weary heart with grieving pain

Embracing each journey for me to gain

Tears never stopped falling until they stained

Wondering when I’ll meet them again

I’ve bounded in new places

Where everything was new

New culture, new faces

Everyone I never knew

With God this sorrow ceased

He guided me with His merciful hands

He let those people I loved to stay within my reach

While conquering my journey

Being with this alien land
